Hailey's Thanksgiving Play

Last Thursday Hailey's first grade class put on a Thanksgiving play. She did so well when it came to her part. It was really cute.

Disney with Mom

Since Travis works every weekend and by the end of the week I am ready to get out of the house we have been spending our time at Disneyland while he is working. We headed to Disneyland the Sunday following Halloween and got some extra use out of our costumes. The kids had a blast.

The boys at Indiana Jones posing for pictures.

As we walked off the Jungle Cruise Aladdin was right there, the kids were excited to have him sign their autograph books.

We actually found the characters from the Nightmare before Christmas... don't ask me their names.

We got to see the new Tinkerbell area after a very long wait. Hailey was sooo cute though she couldn't stand still when she saw them, she kept grabbing her legs and swinging her arms behind her back. Such a great moment to watch.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

A couple of weeks before Halloween we checked out a pumpkin patch here in Temecula. Not as good as Oak Glen but we still had a lot of fun. I think the highlight was the pig races. They kids also got to ride ponies and go through a corn maze. Caleb wanted the biggest one he could find, after we found out about the prices... we convinced him on a smaller one.

Crazy Hair Day!

Who lets their kids do this? Each of them knew exactly what they wanted.

Student of the Month

Hailey was student of the month for September and Tyler was student of the month in October. We couldn't be prouder! Tyler's was for always being prepared-turns in all class work and homework on time... if you know about his teacher this is Huge! And Hailey got hers for being a role model and outstanding effort. We weren't able to get Tyler's on video but we did get Hailey's and photos of both.

Here they are trick or treating. Hailey always seemed to make it there first and Tyler made sure Caleb made it.
Halloween was a lot of fun, Hailey was Alice in Wonderland, Tyler a ninja and Caleb Indiana Jones. We were very busy all day the kids were out of school so they joined in with the day care party and then trick or treating until 9 o'clock, and even then we had to convince them it was time to go home. They didn't want to stop, even after coming home a few times and emptying their bags.
